Phoenix Programme

For adults

The Phoenix Programme is a group course designed to support recovery after domestic abuse. It helps you to understand what’s happened, recognise your own strengths, and develop tools for rebuilding your confidence and independence through honest conversation, guided reflection, and supportive activities.

Many people find it a powerful turning point – a space where things start to click, and the future begins to feel possible.

Recovering Together

For parents and children

Recovering Together is a specialist programme that helps parents and children heal as a family after domestic abuse. It focuses on strengthening the relationship between the non abusive parent and their child, improving communication, and creating a nurturing environment where everyone can begin to recover.

Families learn to rebuild trust and empathy towards each other, increase resilience, and move towards a safer, calmer, and more connected future.

Support Group

For adults

Run by our incredible volunteers, our weekly support groups offer a welcoming space to connect with others who understand. There’s no pressure… it’s a friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy a cuppa and biscuit, talk, listen, or just be.

Each week brings something a little different: creative projects, crafts, guest speakers, or simply time to chat and offer support to each other, reminding you that you’re not alone on your journey to recovery.

Other specialist services

Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation. Feeling connected to other people, to your local area, and to a sense of purpose is a vital part of rebuilding a life that feels safe and full. We can help you take those steps, whether that’s practical or social.

We can connect you with support around:

  • Housing so you can find and settling into somewhere that feels like home
  • Legal support so you can understand your rights and get the right guidance
  • Education and employment to take the next step in learning or work when you feel ready
  • Finances so you can get on top of money, benefits, and financial independence
  • Specialist groups to connect with services and communities relevant to your background or needs
  • Hobbies and skills so you can rediscover what you love, or find something new

We are not always the ones who provide these things directly but we know the people who do, and we’ll help you get there.

You don’t have to face this alone.
